what does the PTSA do?
Advocate for all children, enhance community communication, organize community building events, fundraise for student and school enhancement, volunteer and support our school staff, and promote school spirit! Learn more about our impact here. 
who should join?
We invite all in the Las Brisas Community to become PTSA Members!

Family Membership includes any family or community members who would like to support Las Brisas PTSA. Family means any caring adult in a child's life: parents, grandparents, siblings, foster parents, mentors, or any other guardian. 

Staff Membership includes all current teachers, admin, paraprofessionals, and support staff interested in joining the PTSA. ​
Why join?

  • Join our network of volunteers - volunteer time is NOT required with membership
  • Stay in the know with our monthly membership newsletter via email
  • Access to our class directories
  • Voting rights during PTSA meetings and elections
  • Have a voice, share ideas, and make a difference! 
  • Annual Membership Dues help cover operating costs
  • Staff members are eligible for PTSA Grants. This includes up to $350 in annual Classroom Grants for teachers and Special Grant Requests for special projects. For more information see our Teacher Resource.
  • Joining Las Brisas PTSA also makes you a member of the Arizona PTA and National PTA
How does family membership work?
Family Membership includes two adults and all your Las Brisas students*. All Family Memberships give the first adult listed on the membership form voting rights. If both adults wish to have voting rights please fill out the "second adult membership" questions on the form and pay the Second Voting Member payment. Paying for the second adult is not necessary to be included in the membership newsletter.

​Special Note: PTSA Membership is annual so make sure to renew your membership at the beginning of each year!

​*All students should be listed on your Membership form to be counted towards class membership contests and have their name on the Membership Bulletin Board on campus.
how does staff membership work?
​Staff Membership includes the Las Brisas staff member, a spouse/partner, and all your Las Brisas students*. All Staff Memberships give the staff member listed on the membership form voting rights. If you wish to have voting rights for a spouse/partner please fill out the "second adult membership" questions on the form and pay the Second Voting Member payment. Paying for the second adult is not necessary to be included in the membership newsletter.

Membership contests
Classroom Contests
  • All classes that reach 50% membership will earn an extra recess! (Teachers get to pick the best date and time to use the extra recess once earned)
  • The class that has the highest percentage of membership by September 13th wins a class sweet treat party!
Family Membership Contest
  • All who join by Thursday, August 1st will be entered to win a raffle prize! Watch for details on the basket at Meet the Teacher Night and on social media.

​Note: All contests will end at 11:59pm on the specified end date. Winners will be directly contacted via email or text message before sharing on social media and the PTSA Newsletter.
